Difficult to say. 1958 World Cup changed a lot in terms of tactics and formations and Busby was slow to adapt to it. The old W-M was outdone by the Brazilian evolution.
However, if you have a great team then tactics can be overcome. And also, Busby might have been more aware of the World Cup than he might have otherwise been if there hadn't been a crash. They would have dominated England that's for sure. Perhaps got a European Cup, or two or three.
We shall never know though

It could have been a rivalry with Madrid to match the one they have with Barca at present
