Sorry, you're right. It's clearly the manager holding back all these players who've finished 6th, 5th and 4th in the last 3 seasons.

Not shocked by this result

Wouldn’t stick a bean on united beating anyone at the moment

A win is a pleasant surprise at the moment... very worrying

Football

Mourinho is a busted flush, many knew this before appointing him. The unwavering loyalty and desire to run through a brick wall that he used to instill in his players has long gone and his penchant for pragmatism and efficiency rely on the effort and hard work that comes with this loyalty, without the combination he’s £#%&!ed. Give him the worst squad he’s ever had, and rely totally on his ability to pick a player to fix it and lo and behold.. you’re up shit creek.

All perfectly well and good. I agree to a certain extent

But, how long can you keep that narrative up before you realise some of these players just shouldn't be playing for Manchester United?

Hopefully Lukaku realises it is not beneath him to learn from Harry Kane

Marcus Rashford couldn't deliver a £#%&!ing pizza from the left and Young wasn't all that much better at the other side.

Absolutely crying out for someone to take initiative and show a bit of class when it mattered, but they just resorted to the same old shit over and over again.

And that was just the last 10 mins.

I see the ref blew up bang on 5 mins stoppage time by the way.
Crossing the ball
Is that all our attacking play comes down to?

Easy to talk about wingers who can cross a ball but how many of them are out there in the modern game

How many top sides play with a winger who primary job is crossing the ball
Struggle to think of any

We need much more variation and imagination in our play

This is true.

It is also arguable, however, that a supposedly world class manager like JM should be getting more out of them than he currently is?

We need a bit of speed in our play, one-touch passing...£#%&!ing hell watching us bring the ball out of defence in that last 15 mins.....i've seen quicker funeral processions.

Very worrying on how this United side find it so difficult to create and fashion chances.

So what do we do? Onto the 5th manager in 3 years? Yeah, that's what we need.

Matic, the £#%&!'s happened to him? Thought at first we'd finally replaced Carrick, now we've got 2011 vintage Carrick. Not exactly encouraging for the "wait til we get his players" crowd.

If Burnley had those players would they have beaten us? because if big Ron is
Jose type of choice. well let us say no more.
