Default Sandro Tonali

He’s being investigated for match betting while still at Milan.

Newcastle have been tucked up here haven't they?

They obviously didn’t check under the sauce.

During a hearing at the city prosecutor’s office in Turin on Tuesday the 23-year-old Italy midfielder is reported to have confessed that he bet on Milan to win a series of matches, some of which he played in.

Under Italian Football Association and Fifa regulations, admissions of that nature leave players facing suspensions of up to three years.
3 match ban?

One of the others involved is 9 months into a year ban.

Tonali is bang to rights from what I have seen (& about a dozen other Serie A players) some who were even betting on their phones while sat on the bench ffs

Couldn't care less, but it makes Newcastle a worse side which would be handy I guess.

Surely we should be in for him in January if he's this much hassle?

Milan can consider it a redistribution of assets from the nouveau riche

Makes Newcastle a far weaker side.

This will all blow over

Look at Pep, he was given a prison sentence by the Italian authorities for taking performance enhancing drugs whilst he was playing in Italy.

But they reduced his punishment and no one ever talks about it now.

Like Toney he'll become the Geordie face of mental health issues associated with gambling and duly celebrated by the BBC. If he played for mufc then obviously banned for life

I thought it was very odd that Milan were prepared to sell at all, makes perfect sense now.

Addiction £#%&! off pal. Its like Sancho using the mental health card because he can't turn his PlayStation off.

Great news, the Geordies are almost scouse with their "everyone hates us but we're sound irl" behaviour.

An intelligent analysis by a Geordie is unlikely tbf.

They burst into tears at the drop of a hat and can't grasp why we put the clocks back.

Thick cry babies.
