Default The January Transfer Thread Players In And Out

A left back who can stay fit is needed a forward and someone can play either wing or a number 10 attributes pace and loads of it not some cumbersome slow unadaptable player. I'd get Charlie Roberts at Leeds great young player seen him on tv a few times looks magic up and down Shaw like , mane aswell great player and can play either side and is rapid Uptop dependant on who's available they either break the bank for Harry if that's unlikely the lad at Watford ighalo or a punt on berrahino adding this will push us on add competition and have support for martial

Honestly don't think we can afford to ditch anyone, sadly, unless you're getting another 4 or 5 in, which just isn't going to be possible in Jan.

Would like...

LB
CB
CM
Wide attacker
Striker

Will hopefully get the attackers. Summer for the rest.

We can't afford to buy for the future in this window, so an experienced player like Robben would probably be something van Gaal is looking for. I'd love to see someone like Griezmann, but can't see it happening.

Like Muller, where's he playing these days....

He's not getting any minutes because he's on holiday pal.

Right winger and a striker are a must, otherwise we will struggle to make top 4.

Definitely an occasion where you could do with a good footballing figure in the club hierarchy to make a call on signings. Whoever the manager is in January, we are clearly in need of a player or two as soon as possible. A striker, wide player and ideally full-back cover pls.

Obviously as Saffers/TBR say, don't sign the players until Van Gaal has been sacked etc. Wouldn't want to risk him (us) winning games obvs.

That's bullshit, we still have a lot of prestige and if we put the money down people will join. We just need to stop messing about with the Mullers and the Neymars.

Griezemann is possible - if the club is willing to pay €60m. It should be a Board decision though like with Shaw, because van Gaal definitely doesnt deserve to to be given a load of cash to spend, and will be out soon anyway.

He's got more than enough players to beat Norwich at home, Bournemouth away and finish at least second in a CL Group that contains PSV, CSKA & Wolfsburg.

If his job is in doubt (which it surely must be) why on earth would he be given a significant chunk of cash in January??

I'm starting to think the best way forward is to give him his three years and have no expectations whatsoever. Then anything you get is a bonus, and should we fall away to oblivion, well at least United still do it differently.

We were bringing the likes of Powell and Pereira on in those games. Not sure that's more than enough players. Fact is the squad is short, so surely that's something the club should be addressing. Part of being a well run club would be to get a player that any future manager could use also. And if it helps this one find the net more often, ideal.
