That's just Mino, though. Who knows how much Mendes made from the Faria deal, pal.

Not sure why we keep comparing the points, transfer spending etc. Surely we need to be finishing higher in the league imo.
Especially when you look at the standard of our top 4 rivals. Second is very attainable, and Utd have a significantly better squad than the likes of Spurs and Liverpool.

Well you were the one to bring it up

Anyway we're on a good run and we're only 2 off 2nd so I'm pretty positive we'll be making big moves up the table very soon

You brought old managers into it, pal. No idea why tbh.

I don't even think Chelsea are that great tbh.

For all the battering Klopp is getting, he's got by far the poorest squad. If they finish top four he's done well.

United should be finishing 3rd imo. But it'll probably come down to how well we negotiate these tough away fixtures. Have to add Burnley to that list. For some reason they are really good at home.

So best part of £350m for being 5 points closer to SECOND place?

They are not, but they are competent and Conte is getting excellent performances out of some fairly pedestrian players, Cahill, Alonso, Moses. Luiz has been excellent for them this season, but moving forward I doubt he wants to go into a CL campaign with Aplizcueta , Cahill and Luiz. Depends how Zouma comes back from that horrific knee injury

Needs to add more attacking depth as well, they are quite a functional side when Hazard is not sparking, and they will not have the huge benefit of no European football next season.

No. £200m to build a team for the coming years . This season was about improving, bringing some confidence back to the jaded squad and the excitement back to the disillusioned fans.

After a slow start, we're getting there.

We're better than we were last year. Pointing to sixth ignores the context of the league. Chelsea and liverpool are up there when they weren't last season. The best team last year was Leicester city ffs

We're seven points better off this year (I think?) At the same stage.

Lose that and 3 others = we win the league. Mathematical FACT.
