Shit at buying players

Not sure how much you’re realistically expecting to get for a 21-year old with 8 minutes Premier League experience tbh.

As long as we slip a buy back clause and a sell on clause in there that's a decent deal.

Selling him while his value is high, this is a massive improvement from United imo. David Jones regen, will have a decent career lower middle of the PL and down, imo.

£15m for a player we don’t want with no PL experience is respectable. We can’t shift players. Buyers know this so we’re getting a different kind of United Tax now. It’s our own fault. We should be cutting our losses and getting what we can.

If we get £15m for him, £10m for Perrera, £10m for AWB then that’s a start and, more importantly, it frees up space. We won’t get a new right back until we shift AWB, so it’s worth basically giving the £#%&!er away just for that.

Just think in this inflated market 15m for a 21 year old off the back of a brilliant season in the championship is a disappointing price.

I had hopes he could make it here as a good squad player at least but clearly he hasn't impressed ETH in training or in the game time he had in pre-season

15 million is an OK fee for Garner especially if we have a sell-on clause in it

We need to do this with more of our youngsters if they haven't become at least good squad players by the age of 21 / 22
Can't have more situations like Axel when we could have got about 25 million from Villa for him

Hope he does well at Everton

£15m is peanuts. Surprised we didn't loan him out first.

We massively overrate our young players. Only Greenwood has been the real deal.

That is exactly what I said mate, because our recruitment strategy 10 years ago is definitely in some way related to how we performed in this transfer window. Glad you read between the lines.

This window has been a farce, let's not pretend otherwise.

But £15m for Garner is about right.

How has it been a farce? We’ve signed Martinez, Malacia, Eriksen, Antony, Cass and there’s possibly another incoming. Certainly beats the Summer of Maguire.
