Football Patrice Evra

Think he deserves a special mention for his performances this season. Had a lot of stick despite playing consistently for almost five years. Playing superb at the minute and a great captain

Thumbs up

His brother died last year right? Would explain an awful lot, especially with the lack of back up. One of the few that "gets it" good lad

consistently badly?

I love mad pad, but he has had some shocking performances over the last couple of years, not sure whether that was due to being flogged to death as he had no competition / complacent as he had no competition / both of the above , but for me there has been a distinct improvement this year. smashing keep it up pad

Whatever the reason, its great to see him something like his old self again. Makes a real difference to the team

Good seeing him back to form. I think me slagging his recent form off gave him the kick up the arse he needed. Love him.

Thanks for listening, Paddeh

I just still can't believe he framed Suarez.

He's been much better, but he is still making strange decisions, slicing clearances wildly, and getting caught out of position, albeit not to the same degree as last season - and it hasn't been costing goals this season, for one reason or another. He got the wrong side of Tevez, for example, and was very lucky he didn't go down. Last season he would have, and it would have been a penalty. He made two bad mistakes later, in the final minutes of the derby, and also got away with both. May it continue.

Same week as the Suarez incident wasnt it? Still rankles that the vermin lied on their webstie about him and nothing was ever made of it.

Our full backs have improved immensely, pleased for Pat on a personal level too. Top red.

Still shipping more goals than ever.

Maybe, Buttner has made him up his game.

Funny isnt it, you'd say our defenders have put in decent performances this season. yet we've let in more already than we did for the whole of 07/08

I've not noticed much of an improvement tbh...defensively he's all over the shop, still.

I think his form has definitely improved over the last 4/5 games. But I wouldn't say all season.

He's been shit for 2 years, so it's about time he sorted himself out.
