We'll win at palace and the dippers will lose at chelsea - confirmed champions league.

Dippers will also probably lose at Stoke.

He might - he's certainly good enough - but he has to play the Copa América at home in Chile where the pressure will be immense. Wouldn't be surprised if he was knackered for the 1st two months of the season.

Are you serious?

Crystal Palace will play exactly like WBA as no team has a lower average possession than Palace this season only Palace have a much better counter attacking threat than WBA

Even Arsenal will give us the ball and look to hit us on the break
With only 10 men in the cup game against Arsenal we still had over 60% of the ball

We have to find a way around this issue or we can kiss good bye to top 4 this season

Hull could be very fortunate in that Newcastle and Sunderland appear to be even shitter than them.

It's no coincidence that this abysmal form has coincided with Rooney being in midfield again and carrick being injured.

We really shouldn't be having to play McNair at centre back ffs. What exactly is wrong with Rojo and Jones?

I don't think so. Palace and Hull will both be at home which makes them less likely to do it. Hull may need something and Palace didn't even park the bus, so to speak, against Chelsea. Arsenal definitely won't. Possession stats aren't the whole story. You watched the cup game.

Regardless, I think Saturday was an anomaly anyway. We were shit and still should have scored three at a canter, and their goal was a freak. That won't happen every game.

Would love to see an extra relegation place, would scare those useless teams polluting the bottom of the table shitless.

Would also like to see promotion/relegation playoffs between teams near the top/bottom of divisions, I don't see why we can't have more teams going up and down tbh

Palace have a thing about really raising their game against the top clubs - it will be very tricky down there. That said, so have we this season - give us something to play for (fa cup aside) and we can turn it on. Play like we did against wba - with the urgency and incisiveness of a snail - and we'll be well beaten.

We'll win imv

Palace gave away 74% possession to city when they beat them recently

They will have no problem giving us that much if not more of the ball but they are much on the counter with the pace they have in attack

We have to find answer to it

That's what I meant by luck.

On saturday we are denied a blatant pen for handball, then afterwards we actually get one which the keeper saves. Van Persie has a shot later on which deflects just right for the keeper to save and palm it onto the post.

Then on the opposite end of the luck spectrum on Sunday, Hazard dives shamelessly to win a pen, the keeper saves it and it spools up just right for Hazard to nod the ball in.

It can't keep going that way though. Most important thing for us is to not lose the confidence we built up. This is where Van Gaal earns his money.

Woah

Couple of ripe tackles and a straight red will do us this half. Koscielny already got a knock, need cocquelin to do something reckless. Be funny if Hull get back into it.
