If that’s why they are doing it, then fine. Make a few quid, OK.

If they’re doing purely to silence the ‘outrage’ over Utd not having a woman’s team then £#%&! off.

Nothing quite like good old fashioned terrace wit

How exactly will they make a few quid? Nobody, literally nobody cares about it. It’ll be a financial black hole.

The club have bowed to pressure from the likes of that rancid slag Jacqui Oatley. One of the last good things about the club was the big £#%&! you it gave to all the screeching @#%&!s trying to tell us women’s Football is anything other than a joke of a product. No £#%&!s given at all.

This is another dark day for the club.

we should sponsor a paraplegic team too imo. and a blind team and any other team.

and then make them play off every season and one gets relegated.

Very surprised the old ParaFootyball hasn't made a showing tbh, damn near a national sport over here with the coverage it gets. Can never quite work out whether the interest is a genuine sympathetic out pouring of care and compassion or a cynical wheeze by the media to give everyone an opportunity to feel good about themselves by pretending to give a £#%&!.

Ed Woodward will have an angle on how to spin this no doubt! Maybe they will hold a ladies match prior to our big TV home games at OT at least they will have a captive audience! (and we will have only paid once- BOGOF)

Watched a TV news clip of the City ladies team winning in Norway today, there seemed to be more match stewards, than crowd? Can't see how this venture will make any money, suppose it will keep the PC crowd happy!

Match day attendance isn't the money-spinner in the PL any more either.

TV & sponsorship deals are where it's at. Mebbe Ed can get some suckers to part with cash to sponsor them.

Nobody, literally nobody cares about women’s football tbf.

Apart from the thousands of people who attend games.

And the millions of people who watched the national side on tv.

But yeah. Other than that. Nobody.

Hilarious seeing how threatened some people are by it ffs.

Dark day that young girls who are lifelong United fans and come through the clubs academy system can actually realise their dreams of playing senior football for the club they love.

Young girls from Manchester this is. Dark day though apparently.

you could probably fund the united woman's team for a year on one weeks wages from sanchez.

if you are against it then there is something wrong with you mentally.

Speaking of which I think United should have a special needs team too (all joking aside.)

A football team like United should be encouraging everyone to play football.

Yeah but without a bit of investment and actually properly professionalising it, then it would never grow on its own etc etc.
