At least it might mean Jones gets a game in defence.

Wasn't worth a red but still a pointless tackle to make considering Hazard wasn't really going anywhere.

Yeah it was just pointless. Not like he hasn't done it before either, Chelsea away another time after we got Atkinsoned, or that horror show v the vermin.

Thumbs down

Was never a red card. Wasn't even a dirty game. Another Phil Dowd blunder in a poor game for him. Him and Atkinson probably the worse refs in the Premier League.

You bloody well can, I see tackles like that every single game. Only difference is the usual result is a yellow card.

Surprised they didn't ban Rafael for good measure.

He couldn't chase him, so he chopped him down. You see it every Sunday in the pub league. He made it too obvious, ref had no choice imo.

Its all epidemic anyway Rodders, will we miss him that much?

edit: Cant ban Raf he got a yellow, daft rule that

The club should ban Rafael anyway. What the £#%&! was he thinking steaming in like that, the ref was already blowing up for time. :shakehead:

It was a bad yellow , we can go all scouse and blame refs FA etc but he is a seasoned player and captain , it was stupid and gave the ref a decision to make.

Raf should have gone aswell.

Rather Vidic banned so we can see Jones play CB, than Rafael banned so we have to endure Smalling at RB.

I'm okay.
