If one of the current old guard needs to be pushed forwards to support Tevez I'd rather it be Scholes.

Since I doubt we'll see Hargy until September I will gladly take Fletcher or Pique in the midfield role alongside Carrick on Sunday. Please god, not O'Shea.

Normal back 5

Carrick
Fletcher/Pique

Scholes

Giggs
Tevez
Nani

However part of me hopes Saha can make a recovery and is fit enough to start. Spot on the bench at worse.

Well I'm hoping Anderson is fit for the Derby but after the Evra debacle a while back is it worth risking. Could set him back months.

When is Giggs' contract up for renewal?

We might get a couple of decent months out of him then.

Scholesy to me can and is still doing it.
He cant play 3 matches on trot including a midweek especially alongside Carrick.
Shuffle PIQUE into there somewhere. Hargreaves must make a difference and a very fit Saha is a must.
