Not boring necessarily. But Mourinho himself admits that he will devise whatever strategy necessary to win. That means occasionally scoring a goal and then parking the bus. I can't wait to see everyone on here when that happens. It'll be like Fergie the latter years where we were winning but much of it lacked excitement. When we didn't often smash teams but instead took a win however it came.

Then again, people seem to be pining for that now that we've missed it for a couple of years.

So £#%&!ing fickle. Meh.

We are different. And apparently we need instant success and bow to player power. So a strong personality with status is probably vital.
We don't need instant success, just a kernel of hope that it may be on the way.

Could do. I don't think their squad is a perfect fit for him at all. But they'll give him a few bob, nqat.

I'd just always rather die trying with a dreamer like LvG or Pep. People need to accept that the old Fergie 4-4-2 mid-90s Premier League winning football is a thing of the past. Even Fergie knew that himself. These days there's pragmatists like Mou and Simeone, or dreamers like Pep, or on even Poch. Latter all day for me, no matter how many times it fails.

Not sure that's the case. We were top of the league and were still being encouraged everything was shite That's setting yourselves up majorly when things do actually turn against you a bit. Obviously LvG survives in 1st place, but negative doubts were already being sewn even then.

Anything has to be better than this 95% possession, two shots on target gruel we are being served up twice a week.

It was built on sand. You can't win leagues if you don't score goals mate. If you need an 80% conversion rate to win games it will all come crashing down sooner or later, and it has.

Indeed. And a bunch of Fredsters would be desperate for him to fail.

He will fail because in 2-3 years we'll be right back here (if that long) because this team/squad isn't good enough to win trophies and it isn't going to be fixed that quickly and he doesn't last anywhere that long without £#%&!ing it all up, assuming it's Mourinho that comes in.

It's good though because Siders and Dunk get to switch places with Saffers and his sidekick TBR. Freshen things up a bit.

Guess we can kiss a Ronnie return goodbye.

He is a dreamer, pal. Really right now he should be doing a Fergie post 1-6 to City and pulling everyone in and grinding a result, especially as no matter who we play we can barely £#%&!ing score a goal.

Instead we're wide open. If he goes Carrick and Fellaini again at Stoke he's already in the Algarve in his mind

Not especially, not likely to be replaced with someone better is he. Just a £#%&!ing athlete/machine

That's not being a dreamer, it's being a useless @#%&!. I can't wait til he is £#%&!ed off, don't even look forward going to the match with this idiot in charge.

The shite he has served up wouldn't be accepted at any other top club in Europe. It is wretched.

We really can't compare ourselves to top clubs until we have top players imo.

None of our forward players would get close to a top side. That's a harsh fact atm.

Still should be better, obviously. The chemistry obviously isn't there.

Well if it isn't going to be fixed within 2-3 years then it's pointless LvG staying for another eighteen months then.

You can accuse Mourinho of a few things but failure is not one of them at the moment.

Not panic so much as despair.

Chicha will, when he wins the golden boot and someone plops down 40m for him.

Barca didn't win cl twice because of pep or any overall strategy ffs they won since they had/have the best player ever. It was the same when they had ronaldinho.
