While Bayern hope to extend the Catalan's stay, the club are not concerned about a potential exit for Guardiola.

"It always continues. There is no person in this world who can't be replaced at some point," Rummenigge said. "That's the state of things. Players come, players go, and the same applies to coaches. They come and they go at one point."

Wonder how much it will break you when Pep struggles at city...

Not sure how Bayern announcing they're moving on after Pep £#%&!ed them off proves anything.

They offered him £34m to sign for two more years #failure

Are you really arguing he has been a success at Bayern? If yes, lets leave it at that pal

Of course he's going to City

Richard £#%&!ing Keys was right all along.

I expect them to dominate for the time he's there.

Who cares. It's a £#%&!ing joke City aren't running away with this league given they've spent £100m on two players in the summer and have about £150m worth of players on their bench every week.

They have the strongest, most expensive squad in premier league history, have spent a billion quid in just over 6 years and they're lagging behind Arsenal and Leicester in the league.

They should dominate given how they've rampantly out-spent every other club in England. If pep goes there he should win the league comfortably every season or otherwise it will be a failure.

Hoenegstein describing him as a cross between LVG and Mourinho.

What if Pellegrini wins the treble?

There's a good chance of them winning the league, unless Arsenal don't cave, like they usually do. They are in the League cup semis, so they could easily win that and just for arguments sake, they have a chance of the FA cup. I know it's a lot of ifs, but that's not saying they won't do well in the CL as well.

Would be harsh to get rid of him then.

Jeez, they don't piss around at Bryan. Force Pep to commit one way or the other and have a replacement in immediately when he fails to commit.

Pep has been excellent at Bayern. He sets a coaching standard, reflected in the way his teams play, that I haven't seen anyone come close to matching. Does this ALWAYS translate to winning EVERY trophy? In video games, maybe.

The fact he lost a couple of CL semifinals is a reflection on the cyclical nature of competition at the highest level, as evinced by the inability of ANY team to retain the CL in this era, and some of the biggest teams in the world (Bayern, Barca, Madrid) taking almighty beatings at that stage in recent years.

Can't believe you even answered him tbh. Using his logic if there are ten top tier managers in the CL each year, at least nine of them are utter utter failures.

The talk this morning is that Mrs Pep has no intention of moving to England unless Mr Pep takes a job in London.

And that Abramovich will exceed anything City might offer him.

Wouldn't be too arsed if he ends up at Chelsea. For all the silverware he'd probably bring them they're still a pointless club.

Yep, would much rather him at Chelsea than City

Which means that City would go after Mourinho leaving United holding their dicks

City would be the easy choice but I think Mourinho would chose Utd over them belms if it came to it. The egotistical @#%&! would wallow in the prestige of cleaning up the mess made by Moyes and LVG not to mention being the true successor to Ferie (provided he doesn't have a mental breakdown in the process).

£#%&!ing City though. How the £#%&! did a club like that end up as they have

Could be that United have let the LVG rumours surface as a trial balloon to see if the fans would back it.
