Bet Tevez was a bit shaken up when Valencia went up to him before he took it and said "I'm gonna be playing for a big club next season!"

Possibly. Sadly, Valencia hasn't been seen since.

Missed in pathetic fashion by Tevez.

Just out of interest, what would happen to Tevez if he, say, did his cruciate in this game
He'd be without a club.

Valencia getting more into the game now, causing Argentina problems down the right.

Tevez off, 67 minutes, shaking his head apu.

It's alright though, Diego gave him a hug.

Ecuador 1-0 Argentina.

Belter. Iobi or something.

Argies getting a bit of a battering 2nd half.

I'm surprised they don't try something else up front. His goal return for them in recent years has been poor to say the least.

Messi is up there on his own, at 1-0 down

Milito is on the bench, I think. Why they don't give him a go I have no idea. There must be other strikers knocking about. I don't think Kun is playing as he played in Bolivia.
