It carries a quote from Perez saying they must do this summer what it would usually take three years to do. It's probably a case of out of sight, out of mind with Ruud after his injury, so they'll offload him for next to nothing to make way for new players.

I dunno, probably. Perez often says that these big money signings pay for themselves, but it does seem he has an absurd amount to spend and he's almost certainly going to go completely overboard.

Was waiting for somebody to bring that up. Well documented that they dont get on although probably more of a ploy on Perez' part; shop RVN around and people will think Ronaldo is on his way. Perception is always reality with Madrid, they just keep saying things until people believe them.
