2nd/3rd at worst. Spurs are set to have a fall off, Chelsea have clear vulnerabilities, but might follow the Liverpool idea of blitzing the opposition through attack as a way to take the pressure off a porous defensive unit. Finishing behind Arsenal is inconceivable, Everton might be a greater threat.

Utd did finish in a comfortable second last year, despite many areas that could have been improved on. The squad is also far better than most on here want to give it credit for, for all the shit our CB's take would anyone take any of the Arsenal or Chelsea options from yesterdays game ahead of them?

Depends on Mou embracing the challenge instead of self sabotaging and looking for a way out.

We’re the worst of the top six. On a par with Arsenal.

Could be our lowest finish since 1989-90 if things carry on as they have been recently.

Based on todays performance we would be lucky to finish outside the relegation area, it was a dreadful, wearisome, unhinged, display in the first half and only marginally better because we won the second half 0-1...( well you have to try to take the positives!) after the break.

Apart from Shaw, who had the best game, the rest were terrible. Lots of mistakes, repeated and repeated, no co-ordination, no resolve, no energy (after nine days rest).
Of course its only the second game of the season, but we lost it and worst of all we lost it ugly… heard of winning ugly, that was an example of losing ugly!

Honestly no idea where we go from here!

6th.

Lose 7 before xmas. Toxic atmosphere, season wrote off, slight upturn in results, salvage a europa league place.

Not even joking

We're done.

6th, 7th, 8th...what does it matter? It's over - thanks for the memories etc.

We're going the way of Arsenal, AC Milan, maybe even Leeds.

Nobody fears us, nobody considers us a challenge, we're a joke, a paraody...we've become a meme.

10 years from now people will be saying "remember when Man U were class on FIFA?"
