Utd for the League if Cleverley and Anderson avoid injury.

City as the closest challenger, they are a prosaic team but they will grind it out during the Winter when Chelsea will struggle with a dodgy defence and unreliable striker.

1.Utd
2.City
3.Chelsea
4.Arsenal

Spurs and Everton to bottle it as ever when it really matters and Arsenal to come with a late run.

Want to see Utd make a real effort in the FA Cup, too many years since the last win.

We've got a lot of issues just bubbling under that could see us finishing 3rd imo.

Feries 'rotation' and refusal to add to the midfield.

Kagawa - where does he fit in?

Nani - in, out or replaced? Add to that, the 'form' of our other wingers. Still think they all have summat to offer.

The never ending injuries to our defenders.

The keepers - is Ferie sure its De Hayoh now or is he one mistake from being chopped again, for an inferior keeper?

On the positive side, the team was the same side that beat Chelsea and we never looked in trouble against a decent, but not quality, Arsenal side. Maybe Ferie is going for some consistancy Rooney has been superb of late and we have RvP (would) Also, Anderson looks to be improving - but we await the return to mediocrity. I think we have the best team, just waiting to click into gear.

£#%&! it, us to win the league if we don't have a holocaust with injuries and City and Chelsea don't spend £4b in January.

Us
Chelsea
Citeh

Hope QPR and Sunderland go down and the Verm finish 9th again.

We'll win the league if we win our next 6 games.

So many questions still to be answered. Which of the young players will feel the pressure of a title challenge? Will someone other than United suffer an injury crisis? Have you ever really thought about why you're here? How will City cope without Yaya Toure during the African Cup of Nations? etc.

Should piss the first 5 and a team selection with courage, unlike the cowardly shite last season, will give the berts a game.

Just think we will drop some "surprise" points somewhere in that "easy" 5. Think we might get something at ciddy, though......

injuries will be key to everything ....not to mention the tombola & our bottle during the run-in
It'll also be interesting to see how this squad copes with (real) European Football post Christmas.

Despite my doom I would always back United to win the League.

too early to say.

United have the best squad still, but they still lack the physical power of City...

don't see City being any more impressive than last season so it'll be up to United not to give them a sniff of hope. The way City finished last season once United showed weakness was impressive, but once it was back in their hands they very nearly blew it...

Problem with United is that much like yesterday we aren't as ruthless as we're made out to be. We need to get that back, and if we do then no-one in the PL can stop us imo

I agree tbh. far too early to say.

we just can't seem to keep our best players fit for crucial parts of the season, that will be the difference.

if mancini losing the plot at city is a slowburner, it could very well £#%&! their season

that said, i think it's more likely they'd go the same way as chelsea after mourinho left, and still end up finishing strongly.

it's still between us and them imo, can see chelsea falling away before long. they're already starting to feel the strain mentally if last weekend is anything to go by.

There is something not right at Chelsea the way they handled the whole Terry thing was indicative of too much player power as with the Clattenburg affair.

As with Liverpool and Suarez it makes you realise just how good Gill/Fergie are at what they do.
