Along with Van Persie the best Utd player so far this season. Looked a little tired today but this run of games has been exactly what he has needed. Much more steady and composed in his defending, not diving in as he did when he was 18/19.

Hopefully he will not be rotated too much when Jones and Smalling are back.

look, he hasn't done too badly for a back-up (if you don't count dumping us out of europe and losing us the league last year), but he is not hard, not clever... dives in to rash challenges... just about adequate. we'd have been a bit £#%&!ed without him this year, but that's not quite the glowing reference some of you imagine it to be.
