come on sweden.

I just can't bring myself to support the likes of Cole, John Terblanche, Andy Shevchenko, Stevie Hang The DJ Gerrard, and the rest of the @#%&!s I spend the rest of the year despising. If they're england's finest you can stick it.

England 2-1.

I actually thought when England broke against France, especially first half, they looke dangerous. Obviously the fact it was France they were playing meant naturally they wanted top drop back quickly etc and didn't have the convinction to score again/score from open play. They should beat Sweden. Depends though if they set up to keep it tight etc they could end up drawing and putting a lot of pressure on the last game.

Roy Hodgson really is the archetypal england manager isn't he?

just looking at him in his tracksuit at the press conference... he's almost a parody....

i like him, but he doesn't inspire confidence at all...

I know he was probably asked a question on it but I just seen him going on about set pieces for quite a bit.

Are England, Ireland?

Going out for a few tonight to watch it with city/united mates and am looking forward to the sensation of watching a football match where I'm not arsed about the outcome and I'm not automatically wishing a painful death on some of my mates because they follow City.

It comes as a bit of a relief/new sensation after one of the worst seasons in living memory.

Going to a mates gaff actually. Might be out and about later mind. Plus, I've learnt how to ignore disappointing people by going to OT over more recent years.

Don't think Sweden look especially pacey or inventive through the side, just the kind of solid outfit we should probably match for effort & just about sneak past so long as no one does anything stupid.

Will plump for an uninspiring 2-1 to England.

They are dodgy in the air defensively so England have gone for 2 6 footers up front and are gonna get it in the mixer.

0-0.
