Football I've got a bad feeling we're going to end up with Michael Owen

Bad, bad feeling.

I don't think there's many attackers available atm. Certainly none that won't be anything less than £35-40m

So, Michael Owen it is. I can't £#%&!ing wait

i actually wouldnt be pissed off if he joined, so long as we got someone else in as well. his goalscoring record when fit is very good at the top level, he'd have to be on a pay as you play deal though

Can't see it myself. Don't think Fergie wants another Saha on his hands.

im hoping all our subsequent deals are already tied up pending this one going through.

but my fear is valencia is the only player we will sign or we might do the inevitable and bring in 'owen'

I personally wouldnt want him to join but you never know

It might just rejuvenate his career and turn out to be an inspired move

stranger things have happened

I think that we'll offer some kind of 'pay as you play' contract. And the thing with that weird shaped head @#%&! is, he'll snatch our hand off because all he is arsed about is getting back in the England squad.

What team could give him a better platform than United to help him into the World Cup squad?

It would be an embarrassment to bring in Michael Owen. When Hull and Stoke are the only (genuinely) interested clubs, and Blackburn are sticking their fingers up at him, you know it's a bad signing.

I'm going to buy shares in the compnay that made his pamphlet as if he does join then they will be considered one of the finest marketing compnaies ever and I'll easily make a 4% ROI

i dont even want to think about it.

he is good enough. not at all.

if he does join our the overall calibre of our squad will be average/decent at best.

That said, he is the type of player we are crying out for. The Michael Owen of six years ago, that is.

Fantastic player. Knows where the goal is. Pace to burn. Would be motivated.

Can definately see this one happening.

I've also a feeling Beattie might be on the cards.
