So he didn“t even think about how we would feel or everything Liverpool and us fans have done for him?

What's he said?

To be fair to the lad he's always come across as pretty quiet & unassuming so I'm sure he's decent.
It'll take some getting used to, but I guess we're stuck with him now so best get behind him.

basically saying he cant believe his luck, was close to signing for hull after blackburn turned him down, fergie rang him on wednesday morning for some horse tips, they got chatting and he came up to have breakfast with fergie the next morning, and that was it basically.

got the impression he thinks he isnt coming to sit on the bench and is very much focused on getting into the squad for the world cup next year.

all in all came over very well and seems a decent lad

I feel the same as when we bought Sheringham. Just lost our talisman (of sorts) and signed a forward who imo is past it and I personally don't really rate.

Although I am far from happy that we have bought him I reckon he will actually be quite a success. Decent players around him and good service and I think he'll thrive.

Again I shall trust the wizard on this one as he knows a little bit more about football than me and every other @#%&! on here. If he's £#%&! come he end of the season I'll slate him then.

12 years plugging away as a journeyman pro and now he finally hits the big-time. Fair-play.

I think he'll be a popular signing with the players full stop.

It'll take a while to win the fans over though.

I know its awfully different to the way things used to be.

I just hope he can grasp a little of what that French @#%&! we signed from Leeds did or maybe the paddy from shitty Nottingham.

He may just recover a little of what he once had.

Either way, it is now reality.
