You have to give credit to Bale, sticky start at Spurs but has been very impressive over the last year, and a hat trick at the San Siro against the European champions is a hell of the way to announce yourself on the world stage.

You're normally bang on Sanders, but have to disagree here. A young player who runs at defenders wouldn't get slated, he'd get feted. See what I did there?

He's by no means the finished product, but he's an excellent prospect and would only get better at United.

Both, we wanted him before he went to Spurs but he wanted to join them as there was more chance of first team football.

Ramsey turned us down aswell.

Money wasn't the problem. Bale thought he'd get more games at Spurs and he was a left back at that point as well. Arsenal pay young players more than any other club and that's why he went there.
