Helped that they were playing against the most self-destructive team in the entire division who have the collective brains of a mollusk.

No no no. Its simply that Liverpool were outstanding and QPR couldn't live with them.

I actually think of Pop as Rodgers' real life nemesis.

quite reasonable, most of that.

Quote:
“At the game [against Bournemouth] the other night, we were trying to find ways and a solution, we are playing 3-4-3. ‘A British coach playing 3-4-3?’” he said, mocking his imaginary critics. “‘He must have fell on to that system, a bit of luck’.”

It wasn’t luck, he said, that helped him overcome a side from a division below. No, he’d been up all night, reading up on tactics: “Not that I might have been awake studying into the early hours of the morning thinking how we can do it. A foreign coach would be a tactical genius. Playing Markovic wide and Sterling as a free No.9, moving with penetration. Playing with a ‘box midfield’ and a back three. I must have just dreamt that and thrown them out there.”
what an astonishing #@&%! he is

"A more considered view is that if we get there we treat it with the same kind of respect Alex Ferguson used to show the League Cup."

Won it four times, lost three other finals.

I think it's the thought of how smug this #@&%! will be if they pip us to 4th that worries me more than us not being in the Champions League. Awful fraud.
