evra was all over the place, but in a good way.
Giggs only 35

such a difference 4 years makes. The football was just beautiful at times.

6 second half goals but the 3rd goal was just :mmmonkey:

There was a proper buzz around that team, we were the best in England by far, perfect mix between being strong but also a lot of skill/flair going forward. And we knew we was one of the best teams in Europe and proved it winning the European Cup. Compare that to last season, after the excitement of the first 6 weeks of the season it was dire. Our team looks like a team in decline.

To be honest, in a way I am glad we're having a bit of a spell with the shit@#%&!s again. It takes me back to the late 80's

the only moaning i remember was lyon away, that wasn't even that much. People were just afraid we would get knocked out.

the city game at home was disappointing too, especially given the occassion.

But after the first 3 games it was immense.

beating the vermin away last time we did it

the 07-08 season we could go into any game as favourite and you could look down the team and make a case for every player being in the top few in the world for their position. the £#%&!ing bench was better than 90% of what we've got atm. we've got a lot of potential, a lot of young players etc but it doesn't even remotely compare.
