United should be finishing top two after what we have spent. Improving on 6th place should be a given.
Yet Utd finished lower in LVG's 2nd season despite him spending probably more in real terms.
Chelsea have bought more players & spent more than us & they finished 24 points above us last season.

United finished 5th due to a horrendous injury hit mid-season. Without that top four would have been a walk.

You’d like to think after a £300m spend since then we might be finishing top two.

With the money spent United and City should be the top two teams. I really don’t see how anyone can disagree with this tbh.

State of him in this match.

Ashen faced, bags under his eyes, gnawing away at his fingernails like a manic chipmunk.

He’s been sent £#%&!ing reeling here

We should be finishing top two. Nothing to do with money spent tho.

Were you saying United should finish top two in 2015/16 after LvG went on a spending spree for two summers?

Yes

Think we would have had a decent shout without the injuries.

But certainly after another £300m and far more options in attack.

You keep ignoring the fact that LVG really spent more than Jose & then want to make lame excuses for why he failed so miserably & set top 4 as an acceptable result for him but apparently its not for Jose. Double standards in play

Again you ignore the fact that Chelsea spent more than Utd this season & bought more players yet Utd have still turned around a 24 point deficit from last season.
