Default Why no Golden syrup for Rooney?

Get a goal son anyway!

Good description from G Nev that - like having Bryan Robson up front

Exactly, who in their right mind would let those padded oafs from the NFL play on the national teams pitch before an important international?

The FA of course, but Uncle Sams boys came along with a great wad of Wonga so it's alright

kinell I hope LVG has a rethink and uses Rooney up front centrally - already seen enough here to make it obvious that's still where he should be used if he plays

clyne is flavour of the month but looks a natural tbf

Yeah but it's a bit different having a shit pitch for a game played in the air isn't it. It's clearly made it a lot shitter for tonight's game.

Point being it was already shit. Suppose it is shitter now, but it's no use blaming the NFL game. Nobody at the FA seems to know how to lay a pitch (oooh).
