Are the Moan Narrative and Doom Narrative one and the same? Can I join both or are they rivals, like the PFJ and JPF?

You were right - but the worse thing about it is that unfortunately that match has so far been the highlight of the season.

£#%&!ing hell.

Good to see the snidey little @#%&! rates Welbeck, Cleverley and Mata as well.

Funny that Barcelona's players enjoy watching United's players, but so many of United's support don't

not sure the is a doom narrative as such - not a designated group, anyway. thought it was mostly a bunch of dysfunctional sadsacks desperately trying to fit in with the Moan Narrative :shakehead:

You talk like they're the only high points ffs

I can't wait to re-live the glory of beating Swansea 2-0 at Old Trafford where after a truly appalling first half we were slightly better in the second & managed to make hard work of a 2-0 home win against a team in the bottom 3.

I'm ready to gasp in excitement as I watch United come from one goal down at home against bottom side Fulham to lead 2-1. A short lived scoreline which contributed towards a much needed point in the race for 8th place.

We'll also have the opportunity to re-live the caution of the 0-0 draws with Chelsea & Arsenal. "I'd have taken that before the start of the season!" not half! me & you both David

Who can forget the glory night of a 2-1 victory over Sunderland in the Carling Cup semi final?

Jesus throb, I genuinely worry for your mental health sometimes pal. He's just said he follows the premier league, how have you got that barcelona's players 'enjoy watching United's players'

He's only pissing about ffs!

If Moyes was popular on here throb would be moaning about that. Calling us all Neanderthal idiots & championing Martinez, like he was before Moyes took charge.

Throb clearly enjoys it & he's good at it tbf

Dunno about that, it's blindingly obvious. I don't know why people get dragged in really. Whatever the common consensus is he'll ridicule it. Fairly simple wumology.

yep.

i don't think he does it as some kind of joke though.

he's like a really peculiar juror who votes last in a unanimous verdict and goes the other way to everyone else. Just to be noticed. Any attention is good attention in this regard.

This, it's quite obvious attention seeking, kid playing up in class, stuff. Embarrassing really. And a bit sad too. Why a grown man - in his 50's ffs, from Birmingham feels the need to spend an inordinate amount of time on a football forum attention seek in that way? Jesus Mustn't have a lot going on.

Hope you meet someone soon Throbbers.

66 is right, either a few goals were left out of the vids or BigMike counted wrong, I should have double checked the stats though.

It is still a poor number for the players that Utd have. Some fine goals of course, there are too many talented individuals for that talent not to shine through at some point, Van Persie against Swansea in the first league game was a beautiful start and some fine goals from Januzaj, Rooney, Welbeck and Young.

Too few passages of play to really inspire and remember, it is those moments that you remember long after the results. The pain of Moyes is realizing that even if he turns it around winning is likely to be just as tedious and unsatisfying as losing.

Probably makes me spoiled and entitled to be fair.

That's because we are invested in the result, and they aren't.

hang the £#%&! on son, fabregas is clearly quoted saying that Welbeck and Cleverley are quality players, yet by contrast many United supporters do £#%&! all but slag them off

i'm not wumologying anybody ffs, i'm just trying to balance out the snowballing %@#$&!s of the doom/moan £#%&!wits/narrative

I thought at the very least United supporters would quite like to see all the goals we scored in the first half of 2013/14. it was my valentine gift to the forum

sadly true, but work in progress and all that

the players have to be getting their heads around it now though and CL is going to be floating their boat more than ever
