i think the way that the k stand and paddock had terracing at the front and seats above is the way to go. especially with that cold concrete wall behind. fantastic. love to see that come back all the way around the ground and fair play – give visiting teams the scoreboard end. it would fill every time and we'd get an atmosphere... blah, yeah, blah. but it would be great...

someone help me out. I have a very early memory of OT - I would be about 7 or 8 so late 70s - and in that memory their was a glass 'wall' that seperated the united road stand from stretford end. ran from the roof of the stand down.
Did this ever exist? It isn't on this video. I am staring to think it was never there, so why the £#%&! do I still have this memory? |
