That sounds about right. We wouldn't risk Scholes and Carrick alone in a game like this.

That is the type of team that Chelsea would just steamroller. It might have been ok to match up against the equally vertically challenged Barca with the likes of Park, Scholes, Tevez, but against Chelsea it is suicide.

Carrick and Scholes in a 4-4-2 would cause major trouble. Scholes' form has been up and down in the last 2 months, some matches very good others, trailed off after 60 mins. The common factor in his poor games is a high tempo and lack of time on the ball. Stand off and he is still as good as any midfielder around.

Tevez would end up playing midfield again and if that happens we would be far better off with one of Hargreaves, Fletcher or Anderson in the role.

The team he picked is the one most of us would have picked if we are being honest.

But Guaranteed if we lose some experts on here will say X should have played instead of Y and fergie blew it.
