Shame his football was dire.

Defended Mourinho but, I cannot defend that yesterday. Rojo among others just hoofing it constantly. Their full backs constantly pushed up, could easily have been exposed!

Matic, and Lindelof to an extent, the only ones who seemed to put their foot on the ball at times yesterday

The thing for me that illustrated the gulf in between the two teams right now was the quality on the bench.

Lindelof, Jones, Mata, Zlatan, shaw, The Scottish Player

v

Danilo, Gundogan, Aguero, mangala, Bernado Silva, zinchenko

City have £175m worth of talent to call from off the bench and they didn't even need to call on their premier league all time top scorer.

Can you elaborate on the fraud thing, you know he's won 2 European Cups with unfancied sides yes?

No wonder we get over run in the middle

Pogba and Matic are good signings. Not having one of them available was pretty galling. Matic has improved us, that we lost on Sunday was hardly down to him personally not being up to it.

But Lukaku isn't going to bridge the gap, that's just money down the toilet, and a hell of a lot of it.

We won a few, yes.

Apart from anything else, they have strengthened a fair bit since then though.
