It is bizaare, last 2 years domestically away from home we have been very good, always look to score, look for the win the whole time. Now we play Copenahagen and Celtic, 2 average teams and we become cautious. We did play well for long periods tonight, but there was no urgency to score,

It was the same against Copenhagen, the team selection wa spoor yes, but we were in comfortable control of the match and seemed to settle for a draw. Same thing happened, late goal, embarrassing defeat.

No, they were as shite as us that night, never looked liked scoring. Watched it in a pub in Sweden and it was an awful match.

You were lucky in Benfica. Your European form this season is a scary mirror of our league form (except we haven't won ).

They started turning in performances when they saw your bedsheet. Can you get another one sorted out for this side of Sunday please?

We were dreadful (embarrassing even), maybe they were just appalling. Remember the white hankies at the end of the match from the Benfica fans.

Will you just shut the £#%&! up. I don't have a problem with you being on here, as certain people on here seem to tolerate you, but what the £#%&! does a thread about United have to do with you? Zilch. Sling it.

We didn't underperform last night. In fact, I doubt anyone has ever so thoroughly outplayed Celtic on their own ground like we did in the first half.

We were just very unlucky not to come away with at least a point.

Why not Rooney or Ronaldo's fault for playing shit in that game?

We try to be too clever away in Europe. We play this patient passing shite when we should be trying to smash £#%&! out of anything in our path. If we have played at 100mph against that shite last night they wouldnt have been able to live with us (they barely could anyway).

I totally agree with that. Compare how we've played away from home in the League to Europe. Would we ever go to Milan, Bayern etc and attack like we did at Highbury in 2005?

Celtic are no better then Bolton or Blackburn, yet out approach to the game was totally different. I see no point in playing a possession game and passing the ball round midfield endlessly, as we seem to do in Europe. Why not play as we've done in the League? It's got us top at the moment. In contrast, the "European" style has got us £#%&! all for the last five or so years.

Our rubbish performances in Europe are down to fergies tactics. If he let the team play as they can, we'd have got 3 or 4 last night.

I'll concur with that too. What's more, european teams shite themselves when they're confronted with that sort of play. Ok it may backfire now and again against an exceptional team. You just have to accept that. And, let's face it, the patient method has never worked for us.
