Football Media coverage of United's injuries

Some of you have been crying out for this to get headlines.

You should be more careful what you wish for.

Still, at least you can concentrate your efforts into moaning about how this is the first time they've noticed our injuries.

Or something.

tbpf/h its taken our entire first team squad of defenders bar Kenny E to go down to elicit a few column inches on the subject

I don't think a top side has ever had all centre backs, all right backs and the back up left back out at the same time?

Never forget Throb, this is the same media that told us Liverpool were "DECIMATED" when they had 2, maybe 3, first teamers out

Chelsea had defensive problems a few years ago, albeit nothing like ours, and I remember it was talked about all the time in the media and used as an excuse when they drew a couple of games and lost to Fulham iirc.

Not to mention no-one in the history of football has had the numbers and sheer quality of defenders in the squad that we have. 5 of those injured would get in 18 of the other teams In the league and every other side in Europe

My manager at work today:

"I see your lot are moaning again about injuries..."
"Er, I don't hear anyone moaning?"
"The size of your squad you have no excuse. You have loads of midfielders."
"I don't see why that is relevant."
"Your whinging because you have a couple of defenders out.."
"A couple? You mean nine..."
"See your whinging about it now"
"I give up".

#@&%!.

Decimated means 1 in 10 removed so 2 or 3 from 11 is far worse than simply "decimated"

Soz to be pedantic, but the alternate meaning is 9 out of 10

Anyway, as you know £#%&!ing well mate, the complete spazzbrain(s) using the term in this instance wouldn't have had the foggiest what it "really" meant, nor would they have been arsed even in the extremely unlikely event that they did.

So, ner

Last season this back 4 had a particularly hairy day at home to Villa.

OShea Evans Neville Evra

Just hope the 4 goal average keeps up

he's right, though. killing every tenth legionnaire might work as a motivational tool, wiping out 90% of your own army is not really going to do much good.
