Phenomenal talent. Plays like Kante. Mature beyond his years.

He's like Iniesta, drags the ball about like it's on a very short string.

Best player in his position for about 5-6 years, it’s a compliment lads…

Why is everyone so desperate to try and say he’s better than Rice/Kante etc…who next, Robson?

He’s very good, just enjoy it.

Just saying it’s not a comparison. Two different types of players. But Mainoo is better ….

If he’s as good a player as Kante was we’ll be doing well, and whilst not being exactly the same I don’t think it’s a bad positional comparison. So far he looks like he could be better, you are right, but I always shudder and think of the giddyness around Januzaj and numerous others.

Sorry to be negative, the last 10 years does that.

Today is not the day to be negative. Next game maybe, but for the moment …

Was getting pissed at Tenners for keep subbing him during games but it's probably for the best so he doesn't burn out by the time he's 21.

A brief analysis of the comparative physical frames of Paul pre-Juventus and post-Juventus (first stint), highlight a unique bodily change. The languid, stripling lad of b#@&%! brilliant promise and potential that left United, was transformed into a statuesque, ebony arrangement of perfectly sculpted muscle mass draped over a seismic skeletal frame.

The left deltoid on the image below is a useful example illustrating all this. I mean, just look at the definition of that rippling muscle fibre. Even the upper trapezius and latimus dorsi are stunningly impressive in their form, but that deltoid is something else.

This was a very different player physically to the one that first broke through to the United first team over a decade ago.

As can be seen below, Mainoo has the physical muscular make-up of a younger Pogba, but there is a lot to be done for him to evolve into anything like the version of Paul that emerged out of Turin, and it may not even be possible, given the genetic superiority the latter likely has; a superiority proven in the abnormally high levels of testosterone his body naturally produces. This, of course, has embroiled into an issue in which his current club are nefariously twisting into false, unproven accusations of doping.

Properly lolling at that. There's some gems in the fred archives.

Has someone dropped out?

Or did Southgate have to time to take in some football between his visits to Amsterdam?

Kobbie's game can only progress working under a coaching genius like Southgate.
