FFS, I was as good as him and could read the game better. Worst utd signing I've ever seen. One thing buying talent that don't perform, but paying £millons for a guy barely championship standard and making him club captain |

It looked like a sensible soccer gif. They don't get the game plan, they have no intensity, it's over for the pair of them. |

Starting to think Shaw did relatively well under Ole because he’s legitimately simple and Ole acted almost as a ‘carer’ rather than a manager. Probably made deals with him that he’d get him a twix if he played well. Wasn’t there stories about him needing extra special time and attention under Pochettino?

Can't believe how much game time the pair of them got in the past....
Same as mcfred, just safety first, but it worked once, remember Paris, shit on a stick ... EtH had just steamed in, had a look and broke up the axis of evil from day 1.... Something very dodgy going on with our past few managers..... |

Shaw peaked during that 3 game run with Depay ahead of him before he got his leg snapped in half. |

…and we are back here.
some worrying signs are showing so i thought I’d keep it all controlled in one thread and you can all stop reading right now if you don’t agree or agree with my alternative views….. -weghorst for me this is a howler of a signing. his inclusion in the team is not only hampering us but also leading to us wasting actual players but playing then out of position. we are now deploying him in the no10 while Bruno is shunted out wide. you’ve got to be insane to think this makes sense. we bought a striker to in for martial but because he seems to never be in the right position to get a goal scoring opportunity we are now accommodating him in a specialist position. our number 10 can’t be Burnley striker on loan who has no outstanding quality as a footballer (if I’m wrong what are his strengths ? good in the air? Quick? Good finishing? Hold up play? ) we can’t be fielding a striker that we more often than not take off if we are chasing a game. And some of you clowns want to sign him permanently…we should sign a striker that if we had a one chance in a game we’d pick rashford, Bruno, casimero, sancho , Antony , garnacho for the chance to fall to over him? imagine if salah got injured and Liverpool went and signed chris wood then when it became obvious he ain’t gonna get us the goals they need they deploy him as a no10. Burnley’s striker isn’t some hidden gem in the number 10 he is just a body running around and a United forward should be a goal threat not a industrious amateur! will get into antony tomorrow. But if i said we can get 60m for him now to find replacement would you turn it down ? a player with no variety to his game. no intelligence , no guile. Just run down the wing and a few drags and draw a foul. Rinse and repeat! |

Didn't stay up for the second half - thank £#%&! - and haven't watched it, but going to guess Weghosrts wasn't the reason we lost. Said at half time though that Bruno on the left was not helping us. That and AWB on the bench were bad calls.
Ah well, we learn. ATH has enough in the bank. |
