As it stands, it's all in Ecuardor's hands now, though. They'll be relying on them to slip up. The positive thing for Argentina is that while they are beating Peru, Ecuador will be playing Uruguay. So either Ecuador end Uruguay's hopes ahead of the final game, or Uruguay get something and that allows Argentina back into 4th going into the final round. Very delicate situation, though.

Could be Mexico, who are getting over the bad start to qualification under Sven but are still 3rd with three games left. You wouldn't be totally confident in this Argentina side to get past them. It'd be something special to see Maradona take them to the Azteca in a play-off, though.
