Based on the team selection last night we should be deducted 6 points. Even as they win the league we live rent free in their bitter and obsessed minds.
What an absolute £#%&!ing plum.

The outcry in talksport over this.

Trevor Sinclair is unhappy because top 4 was the only thing left to play for in the league.

Taking 6 points off us to take us two points off second with a game in hand would really show us.

If it was paramount we played our strongest team in every fixture, maybe they shouldn't have had us playing every 2-3 days for nearly a £#%&!ing year before sticking us with 4 games in 8 days. £#%&!ers. Didn't let us slot the Liverpool game in somewhere comfortable like they did for the blue @#%&!s and the Everton game postponed because they had a £#%&!ing sex party still waiting for the punishment for breaking Covid protocols on that one

He needs to keep his emotions in check, what with his weak bladder and all, might piss himself again.

I have to say, the seethe is absolutely delicious.
“Manchester United must be punished for not helping teams below them!”
God I hope we beat them tomorrow. RAWK will be a delight.

Rules are rules. If the Premier League designate 25 players at every club as eligible then it’s no one’s business which permutation of the 25 start any game. That’s an objective law; same for everyone.

What they’re proposing is some arbitrary judgement of the relative quality of players within that squad - the very definition of subjective. You could just as easily argue that fielding any player or team on one day’s rest would have been an even greater advantage to Leicester.

All I know is that there’s a superb analyst of football out there who can’t get a job because seriously thick people like Trevor Sinclair keep getting hired.

It's bigger news than our Almighty saviour, Lord Pep guiding the greatest footballing side in history to the title

Eeeexactly.

It’s a 25 man squad, he can pick who he wants. We don’t even know our own best 11.

It’s a bit disrespectful to Leicester too. They worked hard to get a narrow win. Ask them if they thought it was easy.

Would we still get fined if we won?
Would the ‘best 11’ get fined if they half arsed it and lost?

It’s nonsense. Always have been. Every club is fighting their own battles and if you’re relying on someone else, you’ve £#%&!ed up. He picked a team. It played. They tried. They lost. The end.

Nobody cares, we joke about it, but it's absolutely true.

I'd love to see the hit counts on the numerous fluff pieces written about how Pep re-built his squad with a half a hairbrush and 6 sticking plasters to become the greatest side ever seen I bet no £#%&!er reads them

Personally, I’d love it if Ole came out and said ‘yeah, we did it to £#%&! them over’. It’s a competition, they’re historically our biggest rivals and sometimes you have to think tactically about things. Ole has Sun Tzu’d them and I love it. £#%&! them.

Liverpool lost 3-1 at Leicester.

I think they did that deliberately to sabotage our 2nd place.

See. Easy innit.

More lazy journalism, do they ply the press with gold trinkets at City press box?

Look, if we’re being even handed here, there have been plenty of high profile managers at huge clubs, with big big budgets, that have failed miserably and had to be sacked. We had a couple ourselves. You still have to manage those egos and get them playing as a team rather than for themselves, and you still have to win. Anyone who does deserves credit.

He's a phenomenal manager, clearly the best of the last decade. formidable front runner when he gets the bit between his teeth.

What I won't entertain is this "he's the best ever" narrative that inevitably gets wheeled out the minute he wins something.

Never again will a manager have an entire club groomed for his arrival the way he has at city. They were planning for it for years before he even got to bayern, everything was just how he wanted it, all the old barca heads behind the scenes and backed up by limitless cash and a squad that had already been champions twice in the previous 4 years.

It's easier to build a team with your own particular way of playing when you can just buy players and then immediately replace them if they aren't exactly how you want them. No other club in this country has that luxury and no manager in the history of football has had a squad of such depth that you can replace a 250m quid defence with a 300 million quid defence off the bench.

When Wenger came in, he was the revolutionary genius that was the best we'd ever seen...then in came Jose in 2005 who was racking up record points totals, he was a genius, the best we'd ever seen...then fast forward to Guardiola... he's now the best ever etc etc. I

On that note, £42m Nathan Ake expected to quietly go out on loan next season
