Mendes had one job, find his client a CL club. He failed. Whether Ronaldo's ego would have allowed him to take a substantial enough pay cut to play for some of the clubs that would have taken him is another question entirely.

Mendes didn't negotiate the Al Nassr deal, his manager did.
