Mitten is with the Uruguay squad for most of the wc, exclusive access to players thanks to his friendship with Forlan - so yeah, we should be cautious here.

Rooney + £20m for cavani would be good business for both, we get a world class striker, solve the rooney problem, psg get a huge name they can push their brand on worldwide etc..

Could get away with two upfront in various formations against most teams in our terrible league.

It's not the main priority but if you've seen cavani at his best then its very hard to turn him down.

Van Gaal's 5-3-2 with the Dutch though is not exactly 2 central strikers. Van Persie is the main striker with Robben up front with him but with licence to roam.
