Shouldve been binned the moment those words left his mouth. A United manager responding to a humiliation from city by saying it will happen again ffs. What a £#%&!ing disgrace. He lost any shred of hope I had then and he's only got worse since. The club would genuinely have been just as well served by getting Tony Pulis. Moyes is an overrated chancer no other club in world football rates. No-one at Everton misses him. The worst managerial appointment in football history.

The way people go on you'd think he'd had 2 or 3 genuine shots at the League Title or had a reputation for glorious, easy on the eye football, a pedigree in the Cups....or a real swagger in big fixtures.

He had NOTHING going for him at all.
Everton were plucky & workmanlike at best.
They never threatened to win anything.
He had a shocking record in big games & an appalling record in the Merseyside derby.

Truth. When we got beaten under Fergie there was always a reaction. I think someone said that we only ever lost 3 in a row once under him, and that was when the league had already been won in 2001.

Under this joker we've suffered humiliating losses against all our major rivals (insert joke about Southampton), and generally lurched from one disaster to another.

I remember losing 3-1 to City and Fergie came out after the game and said he felt like inviting the fans in the dressing room to air their own frustrations at the players.

None of that talk under Moyes. Absolutely weak, both as a man and a manager.

Word. Apparently, keeping a mid-table club in mid-table qualifies you to manage Manchester United

After Shaun Goater's heroics at Main Road.

United went on to win the League

We lost 3 league games in a row in late 1996 (including that infamous 5-0 and 6-3 pair) but a League Cup win intervened.

Still won the title that season too

It's because he's British. His time at Everton is the most overrated managerial time in history. He did absolutely £#%&! all. £#%&!ing nothing. Yet just listen to the shite even United fans come out about it. 'He got them in the champions league'. No he £#%&!ing didn't. They didn't play good football, no-one ever said Moyes' Everton were good to watch, they never beat anyone decent, they never had a good run in Europe, their fans didn't give a single solitary shite when he left, and they never. Achieved. A Single. £#%&!ing. Thing.
