Shearer was underrated if anything. At his peak he was untouchable.

Dunno about overrated but I never knew why people got their dicks out over Robbie Fowler. As a side-note anyone using the term 'natural finisher' is a complete flid.

he did put on a bit of timber...he is like a cross between vidic and steven segal..

i dont blame ex athletes for porking out after 20 years of being stupidly fit..lots of money and time and no training,bliss.

I remember finding out he was an Aussie it blew my tiny mind, I don't know if this is a spoof or not but he was asked on Italian TV who his favourite player/hero was and he said Allan Border the eye ties hadn't a scooby what the £#%&! he was on about

Shearer was quality NQAT . Fowler was exceptional when he first appeared, by far the most talented of that time for them.
