and there’s only one manager for that roll.

Time to step up and see how far he can go.
getting about 10x his current salary might be a motivator as well

There’s a chance he will imo

I reckon if he holds out a little while longer the arsenal job will be available and that would be better fit for him and he knows it.

Yeah. I'm sure he will choose to stay managing Brighton and hope, at best, to get a top eight finish rather than managing a team in the Champions League with a transfer budget he can only dream of...

Would be absolutely insane to let Potter go. If Brighton do they're absolutely screwed. Would have to be some financial package to do so.

He's with the Brighton squad today having their squad photo.

Awkward.

This is the biggest job he will ever get offered.

If he turns it down, he is a bottle job, clear and simple.

The guy was managing Ostersunds five years ago ffs.

What?

Potter has no other options unless Klopp resigns & even then, he's going to a team that doesn't have the resources Chelsea have.

He'd be absolutely nuts not to take the job, not least because he'll get a massive bump in his salary & when he inevitably gets the boot it'll come with a huge pay off.

Tuchel has lost the plot in every sense these last couple of seasons. He's left his wife (of 13 years) & kids to shack up with some Brazilian who's a fair bit younger - his football has got progressively worse regardless of who's in the side or how much they spend. I think it was likely more of a mutual consent thing than him getting the bullet, reeks of a bit of a mid-life crisis.
