defended him countless times on here last season as i didn't think he was doing too bad of a job. the football was dull and like everyone else in the league, we weren't good enough to genuinely challenge city, but it really wasn't a bad league performance.

with each game this season though, i'm finding it harder and harder to fight his corner. anyone can beat anyone in this league but it's worrying how regularly we're losing or drawing to shite.

He's done. No way back now.

Carrick_fan would be preferable at this point

At the start of the season I wanted him gone after the director of football had come in and established his targets but looks like we’re only going to get some wishy washy technical director so bite the bullet now and get a progressive modern coach in for the remainder of the season

With all due respect that is pretty discernable

West Ham worked it out pretty easily

I wanted it work so bad. But it was never going to.

He was the man for us when Fergie retired, not 5 years later. Football has moved on and left him behind unfortunately.

Not all coaches are great forever, just like players aren't. The one thing that made Ferguson the best ever was his willingness to adapt and accept challenges rather than scowl at them and refuse to change.

Mourinho has refused to change so now he is done for. He needs to look within himself but he won't. His natural reaction is always to look for blame elsewhere and lash out.

It's £#%&!ing sad state of affairs but he really needs to go. For both parties.
