I still pull out of the odd 50/50 challenge on Sundays due to flashbacks of your horrific attack on me during one of them sessions.

I'm still grinding along, 45 in August. Got my first mystery injury/pain recently tho - some kind of arch pain, plantar fasciitis. Have to ice my foot for 20 minutes a couple times a day.

Really? Which one was you?

A few people said I put in rough tackles on them but I don't remember giving away one foul.

Started playing again recently, at 34 my speedy, tricky game isn't what it was.

I'm also suddenly accident prone, broke a finger two weeks ago and last night took a chuck of skin off my hand which is still bleeding profusely now. Think I might need stitches

Do any lads play for a team? Taking the summer off to get over my injury but would be interested in at least training when fit. Anywhere round town/Salford.

i'm gonna hang my boots up

i play every tuesday with "mates", but the £#%&!ing bickering that goes on with every 50/50, was it a foul or not, calling for corners/throws etc, crying about strong challenges. it's worse than being at a school. so much drama for what should be a laugh
