Breaking from Spain now a loan to United likely, just ahead of Chelsea.

If a loan is an option then it’s an absolute no brainer.

Get it done ffs.

Could be boost DDG further getting another mate in the dressing room

Think hes started the season well, might be hard for Hendo to come back in.

He's not looked convincing to me. Punched a shot away on Sunday that could have gone anywhere. Looked like an easy catch. I think his confidence is low.

As soon as he makes an obvious error Hendo will be back in

Anything that makes it less likely that Matic gets on the pitch is a positive as far as I'm concerned

Saul is still not really what we need in terms of a defensive midfielder but he is a good all rounder

Loan with option to buy seems a no brainer although it will probably be a few million quid loan fee

Could have gone anywhere? He punched it well clear from danger. It's ok not rating someone but just making stuff up is odd. It could have gone anywhere? Coulda, woulda, shoulda.

Getting him on loan would make far too much sense for United to do the deal tbh.

And this is the problem with him. It’s not like he’s a liability every week, but his standards have dropped and there is always a big error a moment of complete shithousery round the corner from him these days.

He will let us down this season if we stick with him.

De Gea looked terrified at every set piece Sunday, nearly caught us out v Leeds not coming out to a through ball that should’ve been his and led to Maguire having to hack it into the stands, got a %@#$&!ing for it. He’s far too timid. Top save v Southampton though tbf.

We need a defensive midfielder / playmaker. Not sure this guy addresses that problem at all.

We've already got a situation where VDB and Pogba can't be played in midfield as we can't trust any midfielder to get the job done in the deeper role. This would just be adding another one

This guy can actually play under pressure, there’s the difference. You can play him in actual midfield and he’ll use the ball and be able to do some defensive work.

Just need somebody so we never ever have to use Fred or Matic ever again as well.

That’s the key. We don’t even need someone THAT defensively minded. A range of passing and an ability to not fold under a press will do us wonders.

Yep. Anybody that doesn’t absolutely shit themselves with the ball at their feet, or dawdle to the point of stasis would make so much difference.

Still need someone more defensively minded as an option. This guy would be the Fred upgrade imo.

He’ll barely play if someone else comes in. He barely plays anyway. He’s the least preferred of the three already available.

Most of the better performances I've ever seen of him in the CL especially he's been in the middle of the park, ahead of the back 4 - he stays on his feet & can pass it far more metronomically than anyone else in our midfield. Snuffs out danger, but he also pings in some absolute stunners from distance if he gets further forward. Which we shouldn't as a rule but helps that he can actually shoot as well if needed.

Class act, no idea what has gone on the last couple of seasons - lots about a kidney issue. Hopefully that is all sorted & he just needs to get playing consistently again. He looks a Utd player to me.
