If it's his ACL that's a disaster. If it's a medial thing he could be back in 6 weeks, whilst frustrating it's not season ending & potentially career damaging.

I think it's medial. Did it myself in a 5-a-side many moons ago doing a mad tackle.

Can confirm that i'm not a physician or medically qualified in any way.

Means nothing unfortunately. I carried on after I £#%&!ed my ACL for a few minutes and it just made it worse.

By looking at it and his reaction I'd say it's more likely to be the medial. ACL hurts like a mother£#%&!er regardless of how it goes.
