no, both Norwich and Villa fell at the last hurdle, there is still lots of games left this season, If we were not to win the league, then I would hope to see Leicester win it, but come March and April time will be crunch, If we can string a run together then we still have an outside chance........

Still think Leicester will blink at some point, the realization of what they are close to achieving will impact them.

Win tomorrow and Utd are suddenly carrying momentum.

It is a lull period, Sparky is right to point out some of the best players being poached by Spain. The other factor is a generation of the best domestic talent coming to an end together, watching the top clubs one of the patterns you see is the lack of leadership and strong character. City did not react at all today, being embarrassed at home and barely a fight put up. Very typical of their season, like it nice and easy.

just like their capitulation against one of the worst Dippers sides in recent memory

their fixture list for this month is MASSIVE

Pelligrini not sorting out the Toure problem while spending £100 million on Sterling and De Bruyne was just rank incompetence.

There whole project is 2 capitulations from Utd and Liverpool away from being seen as a total failure. Now they get Guardiola to legitimize them

A lack of a great side in the league, doesn't automatically mean the rest of the league is shit. We have the most competitive league in Europe amongst the top nations, by a distance. And the competitiveness could increase even further with the ridiculous TV money set to come in. Look at Stoke and the players they are now able to bring in. And they are still 11th.

The league is lacking a few players in the top bracket compared to Spain, but they are all contained within 2/3 clubs anyway.

It helps most of them are Hispanic too. Barca/Real are their dream clubs so even if they go abroad, they'll jump at the chance to move back.

The best Spanish, Italian and German players have always stayed in their own league playing for their elite clubs.

It's the rest of the Spanish/Italian/Germans who come to the Prem because while they can't get into those clubs, the lucrative offers in England are fanciful and you only need to see Carbone, Di Canio and Zola - three Italians with hardly any international pedigree yet are remembered as quality players.in England.

As well as that, despite their lack of success, England did have a glut of talent for a decade or so and when they started to wind down (about 2010) we've seen a number of players get caps when ordinarily they're not international class.

So we're in a situation where the league's best players over a period of years are guys who wouldn't get into your elite clubs and the English contribution has been poor although that is starting to change.
