One of the best away trips that night, never forget it. How some people don't love Ruud is amazing to me? All he did was score goals? What a @#%&!
I had forgot about that chair ffs

should have just thrown Phil on the platform mate tbhrealvoice

Thumbs up

This term "complete striker" (he wasn't a...) or "all he did was score goals" is often used, and my dad always says all Denis Law did was score goals; very rarely got involved in the build up or scored outside of the box.

On the way back from the game on Saturday he made a positive comment about Berba and I said he didn't do much else other than the 2 goals - my old man recited the above to me again and it's a fair £#%&!ing comment tbff

So yeah, Ruud: legend

I was furious, as we all knew it was likely to be his last game for us.

The Carling Cup final was bitchy from Fergie imo.

Chicharito has made the same fatal mistake.

RvN was nowhere near as good in his final few seasons for us - even his biggest fans admit as much........

Saha was a superbly skilful player - shame about his fitness record and suspect mentality

It IS strange that he scored so few goals from outside the box, and given that goals from outside the box count double, it's an important statistic.

He actually looked a different kind of player when he left for Madrid, absolute legend though. Will never forget Villa away in the cup

There are a fair few going this summer one way or another, retiring or £#%&!ing off to play in some godforsaken hole for a payday.

Truly the end of the golden age of football

No, no. That would look desperate. The key is to wait until January and then re-sign him.
