not really. lately we havent even been getting shots at goal and have looked impotent. (spurs, villa etc)
today we are troubling the keeper, getting in good positions and ronaldo looks himself.

Rooney has been excellent, all facets of his game working, some excellent link up play with Tevez, little headers, chest offs and back heels allowing us to play some very attractive football
0-0 against a pub team

Why has Ronaldo stopped playing football properly ?

Everything going in to his feet with his back to goal is being flicked around. Last season he would have taken a touch to take him away from the defender and have a run into space.

He's acting the @#%&!, make no mistake about that.

Hardly, and really their standard is not that important. Going to this tournament was a good opportunity to find some form and get some rythym going, and there have been good signs in that first half.

We have had a few shots from outside the box.

Of course we are showing the same inadequacies. They have been there all season. Dominating play, and not taking advantage.

This team we're playing are fairly poor. It's not like we have just dominated a half against Chelsea and gone in 0-0. It is quite a sad indictment on South American football if this team have won their most prestigious tournament.
