If Fletcher could put himself about a bit like he did against Roma, it may unsettle Milan and give a little more freedom for Carrick and Scholes and certainly allow Scholes to stay forward and not have to tackle too much.

So I think it's important for United to get an extra body in midfield. To achieve that I think Fergie will risk Evra so that he can move Fletcher into midfield and hope that he can repeat the form he showed against Roma.
