I'm in both camps, I'd love the magnificent bastard to stay, but do also see that the way people better informed than me say Ten Hag will want to play won't suit his game.

Whilst he did score 24 goals last season, I find it hard to believe that we could ever score less than 58 goals again, especially as it would hopefully see a return to the Bruno Fernandes of 2 years ago.

That’s the way to look at it, agreed. We don’t need to replace 23 goals, we need to score more than 58 as a team. And I’m sure we will, Ronaldo or not.

Maybe he is. What a ham £#%&! way to go about it if true. We don’t need any more assistance in looking like a joke. My feeling is the denial is likely to be delayed until it becomes clear that we won’t sell him to Chelsea and no one else wants him on half a bar per week.
